It is our responsibility to not only provide your organization with profitable, quality, and effective fundraising products, but to also help you execute your fundraisers to ensure your organization maximizes its fundraising. Below are some recommendations to make your fundraising more effective and ways to become more profitable super ceding your fundraising goals.
Sponsorship Incentive Package
Create an effective sponsorship package to incentivize supporters. An ideal package could include 2 Power Decals (1 custom decal and 1 decal of their choice), 1 flip flop, 1 discount card, 2 hotel reward cards, and 2 discount movie tickets, and 1 earnest thank you letter from a member of the organization. Promote your sponsorship program on your free donation website. You could increase your profit by over 100%!
Here's how:
If you were to sell 300 (minimum order for discount cards) of each individual fundraising item, despite being a bit difficult to run 5 fundraisers consecutively to 300 patrons, your organization would profit a substantial $18,543.
However, if your organization packaged the fundraisers together and incentivized supporters to become sponsors at $250 (reasonable base sponsor), who could also be advertised as a sponsor at events hosted by your organization, your profit would increase to a whopping $58,158!

Roll over Fundraising Investment
Let's face it, it takes money to make money. Despite the worries of traditional investment we use the term investment loosely. Don't worry, an investment simply means setting aside a minute portion of the money you make from one fundraiser to help fund the next. We do offer no up front cost fundraisers, however, it is really nice to have the ability to go ahead and pay for your next fundraiser relieving your organization of the burden of paying back the withheld debt. An added bonus is that some of our fundraisers offer better profitability and free products when paying up front.
Here's how you can successfully reach your goal:
Let's take 3 fundraisers for an example.
An easy fundraiser to have your organization complete and introduce new members to the fundraising experience with much success is a pre- order brochure fundraiser like Auntie Anne's Pretzels.
Set a decent goal and use some of your raised funds to finance the next which could be discount cards.
Again take a percentage of the profit you earned from your previous fundraiser and roll it into paying for your next fundraiser which could be the Spinner fundraiser. Why spinner? Because on the previous two fundraiser you could earn free spinners reducing the amount of money needed to provide each one of your members with a spinner.
Why do we recommend this plan?
Say your goal is to raise $10,000 in 3 months
-
If your organization has 100 members and each member sales the national average of 10 pretzel kits your organization's total profit would be about $7,250. In addition your organization would receive 14 free spinners.
-
Your organization could bank $5,000 of the money raised and use $2,250 to pay up front for 300 discount cards. This will get you 45 additional free cards and 6 more free spinners.
-
Banking $500 of the $2,250 earned, your organization could use the remaining $1,750 made from the discount cards to pay up front for the remaining spinners needed for each member of your group. Because you will be paying up front you will receive 20% free spinners. You would only need to order a total of 70. You will get 14 free spinners plus the 20 you received earlier. Each spinner will raise an average of $210.
- At the end of your fundraising campaign your organization would have blown away its goal of raising $10,000 in 3 months banking a total of $26,500!
Your organization could be raising money with little to no investment from your existing capital. Contact us today so that we can organize an effective fundraising plan for your organization and loosen the burden of tapping your existing coffers to pay for your next fundraiser!
Maximize your fundraisers!
Always run your fundraisers and advertise updates in conjunction with your free donation website. For light weight items such as discount cards and hotel rewards cards consider taking donations on your website for the cost of the item and mailing them minimizing your regional boundaries. Keep your supporters informed for when your organization will be selling its popular cookie dough, pretzels, power decals, and flower bulbs. The more you connect with your community to let them know what your organization is offering, its needs, and where they can help the more effective your fundraising will be.
Did you order extra cookie dough?
If so then host a bake sale with the extra dough. If you ordered 4 extra tubs to meet the order minimum you could either sell them at the time of pick up to anyone who wished they had ordered an extra tube or two (which will be a definite with our cookie dough!) or host a bake sale selling the extra cookies for say $0.75 each or 2 for $1.25. If you sell them all 2 for $1.25 your organization would make an extra $216! A good profit to roll over into another fundraiser, purchase an item to host a raffle, or reward your members with a nice pizza party.
